ChimFin I PE Fund LP (the “Fund”) was launched in December 2022. The Fund is intended to invest in 10-12 companies in the Financial Services and Fintech space, focusing on acquiring significant minority stakes in opportunities across late growth, pre-IPO and private equity.

The Fund underpins Chimera’s Private Equity strategy of curating sector-focused thematic products, delivering a differentiated investment proposition to our Limited Partners and value additive sector expertise to our investee companies.

Financial Services and Fintech is embedded in almost all parts of our typical daily lives with multiple touch points across sectors while also having a deep and extensive value chain, thereby presenting compelling opportunities that demands sector focus. Our core investment thesis in the space covers well thought themes including alternate / omnichannel payment solutions, embedded finance, tech enabled lending, reimagining traditional insurance and banking products, and financial services infrastructure platforms.

The Fund is looking to invest in distinguished and unique companies across the globe with a targeted hold period between four to six years
